Before you begin house hunting, schedule a meeting with a mortgage adviser, such as Lifetime Planning.

We will review important factors like your income and profession to provide you with an estimate of what home you can afford.

Find a house

Now you have a clear idea about what you can afford, you can start house hunting and then obtain an agreement in principle.

Lenders will give you a statement showing how much they can lend based on property approval and assessments. We will help you through the process before you submit your application.

Instruct a solicitor

Choose a property within your budget and instruct a solicitor, we can help you with this. To apply for your mortgage, you’ll provide documents like bank statements and proof of address.

The final step

After the lender issues the mortgage offer, both solicitors will exchange documents to finalize details. Once agreed, the documents will be signed, completing the process and creating a legal contract.
